Acer today launched its new range of five tablets under the brand ICONIA, a new concept device set to add a brand new tablet experience for highly intuitive all-point multi-touch functionality, which means user’s can navigate seamlessly using all their fingers.

Acer brings in the full capacitive Acer ICONIA Tab A500 on both Android Honeycomb 3.0 and Windows 7 platform. The 10.1″ fully capacitive touch screen ensures an optimal on-screen experience from every angle. The Aluminum casing provides a cool look and feel, while its high-gloss finish decorated with an engraved pattern demonstrates subtle sophistication. Despite being just 13.3mm thick, it’s powerful enough to provide fun and productivity in any location. The ICONIA Tab A500 will be equipped with NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core 1.0 GHz processor with Flash 10.1 support for optimized HD Web experience, 3D gaming and multimedia playback anywhere. For seamless communication, it also features the Sky Cross antenna and ZTE LTE wireless module.

The ICONIA Smart A300, a 4.8” Smartphone on Android Gingerbread 2.3 operating system with 8 megapixel camera is targeted at avid mobile internet users who want to make the most of their smartphones and enjoy superior browsing and multimedia.
One of the tablet’s most impressive features is Clear.fi media sharing system, its ability to share content amongst the gadgets. The feature will be preloaded on the device to easily access, play and share multimedia across the home network and to instantly publish updates to social media networks.
