iBUZZ Mobiles has announced a new mobile phone, i4242 Video BUZZ, which will be available in India from June this year for Rs 2,999.

MAXX bring three mobiles with big battery life

The phones launched are MAXX Hexa (MX155), MAXX Rave (MX182) and MAXX Buzz (MX188). The dual SIM phones are targeted at rural folks and people who need longer battery life.

Stressing on the need for prolonged battery life, Ajjay Agarwal, chairman and managing director, MAXX Group, stated, "In a vast country like India, people spend many hours using their mobile phones but seldom find time to charge it. Wynncom launches two feature rich handsets

Both the devices come with widget menus, optical track pad for smooth navigation and hordes of other high end features.

Wynncom has come out with a range of phones under the Wynncom OGO label, which it said "deliver all that the smart phones do and more". 

The phones, named as O 77 Konnect and O 78 Touch, are EDGE enabled dual SIM phones. 

These new Wynncom OGO phones are powered with Synchronica UK's Mobile Gateway messaging services. This enables the handsets to support features like realtime Push Email, Instant Messaging, Social Networking Services with support of Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts; and access to thousands of Indian and International news, sporting and entertainment web feeds. 

ASUS launches PadPhone at Computex 2011

Android based smartphone gets hooked to the back of an Android tablet.

ASUS has launched what it calls a PadPhone at the ongoing COMPUTEX 2011 convention in Taipei, Taiwan. The device involves a pair wherein an Android smartphone docks at the back of an Android tablet.

The ASUS smartphone has a 4 inch display and is expected to run Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Techcom launches two entry level handsets

Both phones have some nice features such as LCD screens, 1.3 MP camera, video player, audio player, FM radio, Bluetooth and torch.

Techcom, an IT peripherals and consumer electronics provider, has entered into the Andhra Pradesh market with the launch of two new mobiles, the T35 and T65.

The devices come with a bouquet of pre-loaded multimedia features, catering to the user on the move. Both the handsets are dual SIM.

The bar styled T35 has a 4.6 cm LCD screen along with a 1.3 megapixels camera. Besides, it boasts a 3GP/MP4 video player, video recorder, 1500 mAh battery, GPRS, WAP, FM Radio and a torch.

Techcom T35 can also support up to 8GB of external memory.

On the other hand, T65 has a slightly upper hand when it comes to features. It comes with a 6.1 cm QVGA LCD screen and a 1.3 megapixel camera.

Nokia to launch X7 next month in India

The phone features the latest version of Symbian, called Anna, a 4 inch Amoled display, and a stylish new look.

Nokia is preparing to launch its new smartphone X7 in the Indian market. The device will feature the latest version of Symbian operating system, called Anna.

"We are planning to launch X7 in this quarter in India," a Nokia spokesperson told 'The Mobile Indian' without divulging the exact date of launch.

Nokia has positioned the X7 as an entertainment smartphone, and has given it a four inch Amoled screen that displays 16 million colours and 640 x 360 pixel resolution, as well as high quality sound output.

Vodafone to launch Android phone for Rs 5,800 in Europe

Vodafone has announced that it will launch a Android 2.2 powered phone for 80 pounds (Rs 5800), the phone will be manufactured by Huawei and will feature specifications similar to Huawei ideos which is sold in India. Vodafone silent on India plans.

Vodafone has announced that it will launch an Android phone in Europe for just 80 Pounds (Rs 5,800). The phone, to be called as 858 Smart, will be based on Android Froyo 2.2 operating system with a 2.8 inch resistive touch screen.

Though there is no plan as of now to launch the phone in India, a company spokesperson did not rule out the possibility of the launch at a later date and said to The Mobile Indian "may be couple of months later we might launch it in India." 

The device will be launch in the UK, Germany and Italy first. It will come with regular features of Android such as Gmail, Google Maps, Google Talk, Facebook and Twitter. It will additionally have Prepay Manager app for topping up prepaid accounts.

T-Series launches devotional phone

The phone is called Bhakti Sagar and features several devotional applications, videos and songs. It will be sold only through Homeshop18.com.

T-Series, one of India's leading music companies, has launched a new phone aimed at religious Hindus. The phone, called Bhakti Sagar, is loaded with religious features such as Aartis, Bhajans and Shabads in multiple languages, as well as Tirath Yatra apps, and yoga tips.

The phone features an SOS button for emergency situations. When the SOS button is pressed the phone dials a stored emergency number. It tries to connect to the number thrice,, and if the number does not respond, it contacts the number last dialed from it.

This is a dual SIM phone with a 2.2 inch screen, 1.3 megapixel camera and an LED torch. The device has Bluetooth and GPRS connectivity options, FM Radio with recording, and it supports up to 8 GB of expandable memory.

Karbonn launches two touchscreen phones

Named as K1414 and K1000, the mobiles are priced at Rs 3,990 and Rs 3,600 respectively and are packed with lot of features.
