Uninor launches two recharge vouchers in Bihar, Jharkhand (India)

Uninor has introduced two recharge vouchers STV 21 and STV 41 for its customers in Bihar and Jharkhand.
Customers can avail free STD minutes from Uninor to any network across the country. STV 21 offers 50 free STD minutes with a validity of fifteen days and STV 41 offers 100 free STD minutes with a validity of 30 days respectively.
These free STD minutes are valid on calls made from Uninor to any other telecommunication network across the country.
Uninor customers can avail of these STD recharge vouchers by walking into any of the 101 functional Uninor brand stores and over 30,000 retail outlets spread across Bihar and Jharkhand.
The ‘Carry Forward’ option allows a Uninor customer to carry forward their unused free STD minutes on their next recharge with STV 21 or STV 41 within the validity period.
If a customer has recharged with STV 21 on 1 April, he received 50 STD minutes with validity till 15 April.
If the customer recharges again with 21 or 41 on or before 15 April then all unused minutes will be carry forwarded, else the same will be forfeited.

ZTE to provide VAS to Telenor

ZTE a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions on Thursday announced contracts with Telenor Norway, Telenor Sweden and Telenor Denmark, to replace and expand the platforms for Voicemail, SMS, MMS, Location Based Services and WAP GW.
ZTE will upgrade the existing platforms to an integrated platform solution that enables the services to share hardware and capacity resources. ZTE’s innovative iVAS (Integrated Value Added Service) solution minimises CAPEX through dynamic capacity allocation and reduces OPEX through decreased power consumption and centralised operations.
